Recurrence and Timezone Behavior#
- REKNOWN creates one occurrence for every selected Weekday from Starts on through Ends on, including matching boundary dates.
- The series is weekly only. There are no daily, monthly, interval, or never-ending options in this form.
- Each occurrence uses the entered local Start time and End time in the organization's timezone. Each date is converted separately, so the intended local clock time is retained across daylight-saving offset changes.
- Recurring occurrences must start and end on the same generated date because End time must be later than Start time. This form does not generate overnight recurring events.
- The full series is generated immediately. It does not add future dates beyond Ends on later.
Outcome#
REKNOWN reports the number of recurring events created. Each occurrence appears separately on Schedule with a recurring marker and is linked to the same series.
After creation, management actions apply to one occurrence at a time. Editing, cancelling, or restoring an occurrence does not update the other dates in the series.
Troubleshooting and Notes#
- If Generate events is unavailable, confirm that an active program and organization timezone are configured.
- If the date range is rejected, make Ends on the same as or later than Starts on and ensure the range contains the chosen Weekday.
- If the time is rejected, choose an End time later than Start time.
- Past dates are not separately blocked by the recurring-event API; verify the range before generating because the UI has no whole-series undo action.
